WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO

Established in 1925 C.A.B is Munsters largest Ford Dealership, in 2015 the company celebrated 90 years in business.

This is a significant milestone for the company and could not have been achieved without the loyalty and support of our customers. We have always tried to create a unique atmosphere at C.A.B, we realise that the purchase of a new vehicle is a significant one and we focus on trying to make the sales process an enjoyable/rewarding experience. We are careful to ensure that our staff are highly trained with a focus on the customer rather than the sale, through this approach we have serviced families and businesses in Cork through several generations. Our door is always open and we look forward to welcoming you at our showrooms in Cork.

3 GENERATIONS OF CAVANAGH

The company is owned and operated by Conor Cavanagh who is the third generation of his family involved in the motor trade. The Cavanagh’s can trace their motoring roots back to 1919 in Fermoy, Cork. He served his time training as a mechanic in Fermoy before attending Cork RTC (Now the Cork Institute of Technology) to study Business Studies. With a huge interest in motors and the motor trade, he worked in every aspect of the business before taking over the reins of CAB Motor Company in 1989.

AWARDS

In 2016 CAB was awarded the prestigious FORD CHAIRMAN'S AWARD for Excellence in After-sales Customer Service. The Ford Chairman Award is awarded to those who score highly during a continuous process of customer surveying by Ford of its customers over the course of the year. The criteria for being honoured with this prestigious award are extremely thorough and demanding with extensive research carried out by Ford in assessing these expectations and providing guidelines to dealers to satisfy them. This is done by surveying sales and service customers by mail/email and having them answer a questionnaire and rate the company’s performance. This is then backed up by mystery shops to help us continuously improve our processes.
